Jared Taylor was born in Japan, where he lived until age 16. He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Yale University and received the diplôme in international relations from l’Institut d’Edutes Politique de Paris. He has worked as a banker in New York and Tokyo, and as a consultant to American companies doing business in Japan. For three years, he was the West Coast Editor of PC (Personal Computing) Magazine.
In 1990, Mr. Taylor founded the monthly magazine American Renaissance, which has been described as “a literate, undeceived journal of race, immigration, and the decline of civility.” In January 2012, what had been a print publication moved entirely to the internet at www.AmRen.com
Mr. Taylor has written for many publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, and National Review; and the author several books, including Paved With Good Intentions and White Identity.
